ボランティア初めとミッキーの里帰り。

本日もご訪問ありがとうございます。

年末に買ったお正月用のアレンジメント…

31日は蕾だったショウブ（アヤメ？カキツバタ？アイリス？？）、元日には咲きました。

 

さすがプロの技。

あ、でも、寒い廊下から暖かい部屋に移したからかもしれないけど…

さて、今日は私にとってのボランティア初め。

UKC JAPANのシェルターには犬や猫たちにはもちろん、ボランティアさんのために沢山の差し入れが届いておりました

 

チョコ、クッキー、お煎餅…　嬉しい♡　

嬉しいと言えば、年末年始のボランティアさんの数！

特に昨日の３日は総勢47人の大盛況だったらしい。

そして今日も…

ずら〜っ

12時にはA棟までの作業が終わりました。

で、午後からは人出が多くないと出来ないこと、いつも「やりたい！」って思っていたけど、お散歩とケージのお掃除で手一杯でやれなかったこと、

ケージの下の掃除！！をしました

今日はとりあえずD棟の3分の２だけでしたが…

犬たちがお散歩に行っている間、空いたケージを前にずらして、床の掃除。消毒。

なのでお散歩は少し長く行ってもらいました。

私も何匹か長めの散歩に連れ出しましたが、こ〜んなど田舎ルートを歩かせるんですよ。

その途中で休憩しながら犬を撫でている人発見！

 

ベテランボランティアのMさんでした。

早く帰ってもお掃除が終わってないからね。

やっぱり人数が多いとどんどん作業が進む！気分がいい

D棟が3時半に終わった時点で私は帰ってきました。

ああ、今日も楽しかった！

そして嬉しい出来事はまだありました。

先日「大晦日に保護した柴犬がいる」とお伝えしました。

人懐っこいコで多くのボランティアさんを魅了していましたが、聞けば保護した場所がシェルターの真ん前の路上だったとか…

「怪しい…」と思いました。

保護施設があると、自分では飼えなくなったのに、保健所で処分してもらうのは忍びない飼い主が、そのような施設に遺棄する場合があると聞いたことがあります。

一方、この柴ちゃんは人が大好き♡　誰が近づいても大喜びでシッポを振って甘えます。

「可愛がられていたのでは…」とも思いました。

そして今日の午後、飼い主さんが現われたのです！！

 

シェルターからそう遠くないお宅のワンコでした。

外犬で、年末にお孫さんが遊びに来ていて、リードを付けずに抱っこしたら犬が暴れて飛び降り、そのまま逃げちゃったとか…

帰ってくるだろうと待っていたのに戻って来ない。

役所は三が日はお休みだろうから、今日になって方々に連絡し、もしかしたらUKC JAPANのシェルターで保護しているかもしれないと言われ、引き取りに来られました。（UKC JAPANの記事はコチラ）

よかった〜

お父さんの軽トラに乗せられ、嬉しそうに帰って行きました。

ご心配くださった皆様、ありがとうございました。

さて、シェルターでの嬉しい再会は一昨日の２日にもありました。

貫太と一緒にシェルターに里帰りしたのは…

 

義妹の家で昨年の５月に引き取ったミッキー（元ヒゲ）です。

 

代表であるタッズ父とタッズ母のことがわかったみたいでした。

 

母犬であるジャックラッセルのピーチを保護した時、お腹の中にいたミッキー。

お産の時取り上げてくれたのはタッズ父でした。

ミッキーの兄弟犬ミル君（元チュー）の里親になっているのは、こちらのベテランボランティアNさん。

 

いつかミッキーとミル君を会わせるという約束をしました。

楽しみだね

風が強かったこの日、帰る時ミッキーが立ち上がりました。

嬉しそうな仕草をしながら見つめるその先には…

 

今のお父さん。

ミッキー、とっても幸せに暮らしています。

初ボラお疲れ様でした！
年末年始はどうかなぁ～と心配してたけど、
3日のボラ人満員御礼の様子はHPで見てめっちゃ嬉しかった。
なんと！47人も集結したのね！？すげぇ～。
駐車場はどういうことになっていたのだろう。
昨日もサクサク作業が進み、年越しの大掃除になったのね。
ロケットスタートだ！幸先がいいねっ。
かわいい柴ちゃんも無事おウチに戻れてよかった。
私も「捨てた？」とちょい怪しいと睨んでいたけどね。
飼い主さん～万一のために迷子札はつけてやってくださいな。

あはは。
貫太君に負けず劣らず幸せ生活を謳歌するミッキーちゃん。
お里帰りはタッズ父母にとって一番嬉しい瞬間でしょう。
シェルターのコは同じ釜の飯を食ったいわば親戚。
タッズファミリーの輪が広がっていくね。

私は8日の日はボラるよん。
代表に大事な話もあるしねぇ♪

2日の皆さんでのご訪問の様子とボランティアさんの
大集結ぶりに驚くと同時に何と言う嬉しい姿と
大喜びしていました。

あの可愛い柴ちゃんもしかするとわざとUKC前に
と疑念を持ちましたがそうでなくお迎えが
あって無事飼い主さんの元に帰られたと
嬉しいご報告良かったですね～～♪

迷犬ちゃん　お家の方のお迎え
本当に　本当によかったですね。
決して　他人事でないので
おもわず　拍手しています。

どんな場合でも　油断せずに　リードを付けることも
必要だと感じました。

昨年　注文してあった　Ｗan１月号が　手に入りました。
すみから　すみまで　読んでいます。

あけましておめでとうございます。
お正月過ぎて間もない、また寒い中ボランティアお疲れ様です。
3、4日はボランティアさんの数も多かったようで良かったですね。
ケージの下までキレイになって、犬達も喜んでいるでしょうね！

柴ちゃん、ご家族の元に帰れてよかったです！！
私も少し同じ心配をしていましたが、お迎えがあって本当にほっとしました。

初ボランティア、お疲れさまでした。
３日のボランティアさんが４７人！凄いです。嬉しいです。
通常できない所までのお掃除をされるとは・・・・
